Parent Leadership Academy
Parent Leadership Academy: Levels of Leadership, Final Certification Test
Directions for taking the Exam
This exam incorporates information that you've recently reviewed within the Parent Leadership PowerPoint slides. It also contains scenarios that will need your feedback as to how you might react during a given situation, based on the information that you are provided with in the moment.
Being a parent leader isn't just about understanding Chancellor's Regulations A-660 (PA/PTA Governance), or the Chancellor's Regulation A-655 (School Leadership Team Governance). Being a citywide, district or school-based parent leader also means that you have to be focused on creating opportunities for partnership with your school (Principal), district (Superintendent) and citywide (Chancellor) leadership representatives.
The goal is for you to gain the knowledge you need so that you can become a Certified Parent Leader.
At the end of the exam you will be able to review your score and look over any incorrect answers you may have given. When you are ready, you may take the exam again, as many times as you wish, until you have an 80% or better score.
